The first new chain saw I bought in 2009 was gas powered because I thought it would be more powerful and convenient without the cord. It was just for light duty around the outside when I needed it now and then but I always seemed to have a hard time starting it even though I always followed the manuals instructions to the tee regarding storage and upkeep but dispate that I still always had a hard time starting it. I have gas weed wackers & grass blowers and have no problem with them so it was not me doing something wrong. A few weeks ago I decided to cut down a small tree that had died so I uncovered the chain saw filled it with proper fuel and after a number of pulls it started and I cut down half the tree. The next week I went back to cut down the other half of the tree but the saw wouldn't start no matter what I did and that's when I decided enough was enough, I did some on line research and found this Poulan 16" electric saw and read all the good reviews and bought it here on Amazon. I received it in a very timely manner. After reading the entire manual I filled it with chain oil (It does not come with any oil) I pluged it in turned it on and it did a great job of cutting down the tree. It is very powerful and I am very satisfied with it and will never own another gas chain saw again, just have a good heavy duty electrical cord, read the manual and follow safety rules and save you shoulder.

I bought the Poulan PLN3516F electric chainsaw to cut dry pecan firewood in smaller pieces for my patio fire pit. It worked ok on the first half dozen cuts, then it locked up. I turned it over and could see that the shaft holding the chain sprocket inside the housing had pulled out. It looks like the metal shaft rotates in a metal bushing, but it is encased in the plastic body of the chain saw. The plastic encasing the bushing and shaft was deformed and the shaft was left sitting at an angle that would not allow the chain to move.

I followed the directions prior to using the chainsaw. I was keeping the chain at the correct tension. It was full of chain oil and is suppossed to be self lubricating. The cut did not put the chain in a bind in any way. My conclusion is that the plastic holding the shaft and bushing in place was defective or not strong enough to handle the tension.

It may have been an isolated case, but I won't buy another Poulan chainsaw, and I am going back to gasoline powered saws. They seem to be better built.

I returned it to Lowes and they gave me a full return.

I am a woman so I can't start the gas-powered chain saws. I suspect a lot of men can't either. For that reason, I am stuck with the electric kind. My new electric Poulan saw certainly does the trick. I was able to cut up a big branch that fell out of a dead tree during a rain storm. The saw is not too heavy for me and cut through the limb quickly.

This little amp has has the most amazing tone. I was just looking for an amp to carry when I travel but was amazed with the warm tone this box makes, it is quiet at 1 watt but warm.

Having read the other reviews of this product, I was very hopeful I could use the Fender Mini '57 Twin-Amp for times when playing an electric guitar unplugged just doesn't cut. But after using it for an evening, I couldn't wait to return it - it sounded just awful at any volume level and tone setting. I would fully discourage anyone from buying this item for anything more than a nice desk top paper weight.

My wife bought this for me as a gift along with some headphones (I can take a hint). Actually, she bought it as a gag Christmas gift not thinking it was truly functional. A bit pricey for a gag gift, but it turned out good.

I have found that the sound quality is decent when I am at half volume or below, but tends to distort (unwanted on the clean sound) and not sound good above that level. That still allows me to practice at low volumes without disturbing the whole house. The distortion option does allow for a bit more volume as the speakers are distorting anyway.

The headphone feature is great, as it will blow the phones right off my head, which tells me the speakers are the weak link in this item, not the amplification. So I can (somehow figure out a way to) hang it on my belt and be mobile with my headphones and have a very good sounding setup. This is a good thing since I am replacing my little Epi 15R amp with a Fender Super Champ XD (Both would be tethered to the wall AC outlet).

Other minor drawbacks are: needs an AC power converter and it would be nice if that came with it for the price; the little foam insert in the battery compartment takes up too much room, so I had to take it out to allow a 9-volt to fit without excessive pressure on the plastic battery cover; and no belt hook to allow ease of mobility.

Overall, I like the amp for the purpose I have.

I had a couple of inflatable chairs back in high school so when I saw this I decided I had to get it for old times sake. This turned out to be more comfortable than the chairs I had, the back is higher which is a major plus. I haven't had a problem with it leaking but I keep a patch kit around just in case. I've really put this gear to the test! I bought the Frogg Toggs Elite Highway Rain Gear specifically because of the reflective properties and design for motorcycle use. It rained ( and hailed a bit ) from the moment I left Denver until I was just outside of Topeka, KS. At every stop along the way and at hotel in Topeka I was bone dry! I love this gear and keep it in the pannier on my bike always. I ride a BMW R1200RT in all types of conditions and never leave home without this gear. It's been field tested on long tours and during local commutes and gets my full endorsement. Easy to pull on over boots and fits good over my other motorcycle gear. As to reviews complaining of melting: I don't know of a rain gear made that withstands heat. Take care of your gear and it will take care of you.

I bought two Frogg Togg rain suits. One for boating and one for riding my motorcycle. For boating, they work well if you are just getting a very occasional splash. Over time with constant or even just frequent splashing they get soggy and you are damp. My motorcycle suit was advertised specifically for that use. It is worthless as bike rain gear. Even in a small shower you are wet underneath. Also, heat from the pipes melted holes in the leg the first time I wore them. The material does breath and is more comfortable for that reason. They are cooler in heat and offer some warmth in cold. If all you need is a little protection from a very occasional splash or a light mist for a short time they will work fine. I would not recommend them at all for motorcycle use.

I ordered the Hi Visibility green, and like the suit. It's fairly soft, flexible, and breathable, not stiff like vinyl rain gear. The jacket has a built in hood, and the pant legs have zippers to help get boots through. Pants also have a snap flat that provides access to your pants pockets inside. They run just a bit large to fit over your clothes.

For the price this can't be beat! I bought this because I needed another HDMI cord and I didn't want to have to pay the Monster Brand price, and I am glad I chose this! This cord does the exact same thing with the exact same quality as any expensive HDMI cord such as Monster. The only difference between my Monster cable and this one is that my Monster cord is a thicker gauge cord but the picture quality is exactly the same! If I ever need another HDMI cable I will be buying another AmazonBasics branded one.
